All this is such nonsense from an earlier age. If you catch yourself falling into dualities, just stop and fix yourself. This stuff is just used to control people and is totally artificially otherwise.
For example, there is no such thing as mortal & venial sin. Because if there is, that means there is a dividing line between the two. So, if stealing $100 is a mortal sin, this means $99.99 is a venial sin, and this is insane. Of course, this is exactly what the Catholic lawyers such as Alphonsus Liguori argued, and what some of the Trad Cats still push. Many of the idiots in their own congregations have never given this stuff a second of thought, they’re so blind to the Mass rituals that anything else is ignored.
When you have things like good & evil, you end up wanting lists of virtues and vices, which is exactly what people in the early Christian times did, and lots of idiotic random lists exists of virtues and vices. We see all this is insane now.
